Monsoons are a much awaited solace from the scorching heat of the summers. Children love to splash around in the water and set their paper boats sailing in little puddles of water. The lovers

make plans for romantic getaways while the more adventurous at heart set out for treks and hikes to soak in some greenery. Schools get re-opened with new hopes, new books and new dresses.
But this newsmaker, the monsoon, brings along with it a flood of hidden bacteria and viruses that surface up in the murky waters, giving rise to colds, cough, throat infections, fevers, etc. Common cold & cough also becomes a complaint of the majority people especially in the crowded metropolitan cities such as Mumbai. Many people like this season, but hate the diseases that follow.
But, homeopathy has the best cures for all the ailments and also through the homeopathic treatment, one can prevent these water borne diseases.
Homoeopaths are also in preparation to manage their clinics with more vim and vigor as they are expecting another “season”.
Responsibility of a Homoeopath is very high as most of the expected diseases are viral. Bacterial diseases like tonsillitis, bronchitis, bronchiolitis, and dysentery may occur sporadically.
Homeopathy is a holistic treatment which believes in the theory ‘like for like’. It is also a natural medication which helps in keeping the diseases away. As it is a well known fact that prevention is better than cure, so does the homeopathic medicines, which prepare the immune system of an individual to fight the dreadful viral attacks and stay fit even in the rainy season. Homeopathic treatment is an individualized treatment and hence, like allopathy same medicine is never prescribed to all the patients if they have certain disease.
It is very interesting to study as why monsoon season brings out so many health issues in public. Let us try to understand it.
Adaptability to situation is the key to health, with so much variation in the environment, drastic change of temperature, i.e. from extreme heat to humid cold weather; in rural village from dry heat to cold humid weather; places like coastal cities the situation is even worse from extreme heat humidity to again cold and humidity. This combination is the most aggravating factor which affects health. For e.g. people already suffering from bronchitis, asthma, joint pains, and fatigue for them this time is most difficult.
This situation actually
The homeopath has to first study the full history of an individual, then understands his family history and then after careful examination of the concerned patient has to prescribe him a remedy. Therefore, a homeopath should be the one who can understand the in and out of a patient and treat him accordingly.
